Gillott 170 Calligraphy Nib

The Gillott 170 nib is smaller than the Gillott 404 and 303 nibs. It is very flexible and smooth, capable of producing thick swells. Used for small to medium x-heights. Can be used with a Speedball Oblique Penholder, Adjusted Oblique Plastic Holder with Metal Flange or the Brause Straight Holder.

The nib will have an invisible protective serum on it to keep it from rusting. Please remove this before use, by dipping the nib in soapy warm water and rubbing off the film.
