Clairefontaine Paint’ON Sketch Pad // Noir Color (A5/A4)

Clairefontaine Paint’ON pads are the perfect mixed media sketchbooks for experimenting with new materials and approaches. The heavyweight surface can take a huge range of wet and dry media, and is tough enough for anything creative you can throw at it - the 250gsm textured paper won’t disintegrate when erasing and is resistant to warping when used with wet techniques.

Available in A5 and A4 sizes, each pad comes with a hard greyboard backing and glued sheets along a single edge.  The black paper has a slightly rough surface. It is ideal for crayon, charcoal, pastel, Indian ink, felt pen, markers and gouache.
