William Mitchell Copperplate Nib

These flexible, pointed nibs have a double bend, so that the end of the nib points in the correct direction for writing. They are used with a straight pen holder. Can be used with a Speedball Oblique Penholder or the Brause Straight Holder. These nibs allows you to write copperplate with a straight (not oblique) holder. These have a larger base than most nibs.

The nib will have an invisible protective serum on it to keep it from rusting. Please remove this before use, by dipping the nib in soapy warm water and rubbing off the film.
