Kate Teng is an artist-architect based in Penang, Malaysia who sometimes walks the old streets in town for a dose of nostalgia. Kate creates works in watercolour through her observations of the old town and curiousity for forgotten places. This recording of old buildings in the form of paintings serves as an act of `conservation’ on paper and restoring the memories of these places which were once so familiar.
