Shikiori - the four seasons. The changing seasons are hugely important to Japanese culture, and Sailor's Shikiori range looks at the seasons of Japan in a number of different ways. In this Tsukuyo-no-Minamo ('Moonlit Water') series, each season is seen through reflections on the water's surface.

Inspired by the classic Sailor 1911 design, this medium sized pen is very comfortable in the hand, while the gold plated steel nib provides a smooth writing experience. There is a white finial at the end of the cap representing the moon, following the evening/night theme of this series. Meanwhile, the gold-coloured accents on the cap add an elegant touch.

Yozakura - moonlit cherry blossom. The symbol of spring in Japan, cherry blossom is representative not only of the spring in general, but of the impermanent nature of all things in life. Here, the slight sparkle in the finish represents moonlit cherry blossom, as it is washed away in a stream of freshly melted snow.

Shimoyo - dedicated to the beauty of winter in Japan. The subtly sparkling blue finish is inspired by the winter nights when frost begins to form on the banks of a pond.

It comes equipped with Sailor's stainless steel nib in fine (F).

The cap can push to post onto the back of the barrel when writing. The Shikiori Tsukuyo-no-Minamo fountain pen comes with a complimentary Sailor converter (worth RM37) and two Sailor Black ink cartridges.
